The 72nd Republic Day celebration at OPJS University started with the unfurling of the tri-coloured national flag, followed by the national anthem, post which, a formal program was organized in the Academic block of the university. Dr. Ashok Purohit (Pro-vice Chancellor) hosted the program. The program commenced with an introductory speech by Dr. Virender Khurana (Registrar, OPJS University). The CHAIRMAN of OPJS University, Prof. DR. Rakesh Sehrawat addressed the gathering and highlighted upon the significance of Republic Day and the role of the youth in developing the nation. He also threw light on the contributions made by our national leaders towards the development of the country. The program came to an end with a cultural performance by the student body, which made the celebration colorful.
